Do You Know This Famous Little Port?

This fishing village in the province of Genoa was transformed into an upscale

tourism location in the 1950s. Known for its picturesque small harbor dotted

with colorful homes and villas, its pricey cafes and hotels are better priced for

visiting celebrities than the average tourist.

Originally named Portus Dephini, or Port of the Dolphin, welcome to enchanting Portofino.

Here you see several of the luxury villas that border the harbor. But don’t drive a car here;

the only public parking garage can cost as much as $30 per hour.
